Ink Vial is a trading name of Pixels and Ink Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 15716844), registered address: 41 Fernhurst Road, Leicester, LE3 2PG, United Kingdom. We are the "data controller" for the personal information you provide. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to run the shop.

What we collect

Order details - your name, delivery address, email, and what you ordered.
Payment information - handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
Messages - anything you send via our contact or ink-suggestion forms (name, email, message).
Basic technical data - anonymous, privacy-friendly visit analytics (no tracking cookies).

How we use it

To process, pack and deliver your order, and contact you about it.
To respond to your enquiries and ink suggestions.
To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Our legal bases are performance of a contract (fulfilling your order), legitimate interests (running and improving the shop, replying to you), and legal obligation (e.g. tax records).

Who we share it with

We only share data with trusted providers who help us run the shop, and only as needed:

Stripe - secure payment processing.
Royal Mail - delivery of your order.
Resend - sending and notifying us of order/contact emails.
Vercel & Upstash - website hosting and order/stock database.

We never sell your data.

Cookies & storage

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your basket is stored locally in your browser, and we use a single essential cookie only if you enter a preview password. Our analytics are cookieless.

How long we keep it

Order and tax records are kept for up to 6 years as required by UK law. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to help you.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its use. To exercise any of these, just contact us. Email: hello@inkvial.co.uk.
